The research project will be officially launched on 10 April 2018 at the University of Malta.

The Research Project Cultural Transmission of Actor Training Techniques (CTATT), directed by Dr Stefan Aquilina of the Department of Theatre Studies (School of Performing Arts, University of Malta), will be officially launched with the following research presentation:

During this presentation Dr Aquilina will contextualize the Project within broader discourses about cultural transmission and actor training, as well as detail its general aims and objectives. He will also discuss the first events hosted by the Project, a series of workshops by international practitioners from Italy, UK, and the Czech Republicon differences and recurrences in the transmission of Stanislavsky’s magic ‘if’. The Project’s launch also forms part of the School of Performing Arts Research Seminar Series.
The Project is supported by the University of Malta Research Grant Committee and Arts Council Malta– Malta Arts Fund.
