International practitioners from Italy, UK, and the Czech Republic.

In April 2018 the CTATT (Cultural Transmission of Actor Training Techniques) project hosted its first series of events – a series of workshops on Stanislavsky’s magic ‘if’ with the following international practitioners:
Alessio Bergamo
Accademia di Belle Arti di Frosinone/Teatro di Roma/Teatro della Toscana, Italy
Julian Jones
Rose Bruford College, UK
Jakub Korčák
Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU), Prague
The international practitioners were also interviewed by Project Director Dr Stefan Aquilina, and the recorded interviews are available for viewing here. Photographic documentation of the sessions can also be accessed by following this link.
The training sessions formed part of the Programme of Studies delivered by the Department of Theatre Studies (School of Performing Arts, University of Malta), namely the third year unit THS3111 Tradition and Transmission in Performance, but other participants were invited to join by answering a relevant call.
Alessio Bergamo’s and Jakub Korčák’s visits were made possible thanks to the support of Arts Council Malta– Malta Arts Fund. Julian Jones participated in the Project on an ERASMUS+ Staff Mobility for Teaching.
